Required Skills: •Reports to the Director of Operations and works independently on day-to-day operations managing a team of technicians consisting of both inside plant (ISP) and outside Plant (OSP). •This position may be based in Nashville, TN or Memphis, TN •. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of one of these locations and be able to work from the assigned office or field location as required. The role supports operations throughout the region and will require occasional travel within the service area •Multiple network equipment types (including DWDM, Ethernet, IP, VoIP and SONET technologies) and manufacturers. •Installation, operations, and maintenance of the network equipment at both company operated and customer operated facilities. •Coordinate with multiple teams outside of the division to test, activate, insert and utilize various network elements. (Including Real Estate, CCM, Sales, Sales Engineering, Contractors, Design, Test & Activations, Customers, and multiple NOC organizations) •Analyze and measure data to identify key trends in performance. •Establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with personnel at all impacting organizations as well as other external contacts so that issues are resolved correctly and timely.
