Hiring: Metrology Engineering Technican Company: Intel Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 02:23:52 Employment Type: Internship / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : AI, C, C++, CAD, Compliance, MATLAB, Make, Phoenix, Python, Visual Basic About the job Experience: •2+ years of equipment maintenance experience •5+ years of related equipment maintenance experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment •4+ years of hands-on technical experience, including military technical experience •4+ years of Field Service Engineer-level semiconductor equipment maintenance experience •6+ years of hands-on experience, including military technical experience Required Skills: •This role requires regular onsite presence at our Arizona facility to fulfill essential job responsibilities. •Provide sustaining support for module equipment and components, including installation and qualification of new equipment •Execute maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for module equipment and components, including dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and reassembling equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, and specifications •Design and develop relevant tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing operations •Partner with engineering teams on repair development procedures to ensure manufacturability and process efficiency •Create detailed documentation of operational and maintenance procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance •Interface with engineering teams and report schedule updates to management on a regular basis •Support engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation to improve module availability and performance Qualifications: •Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, optical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, computer science or another applied engineering discipline with no experience •Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field related to Semiconductor Manufacturing — with 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience •Associate degree in a STEM field related to Semiconductor Manufacturing with 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience; or an Associate degree with 6+ years of maintenance experience •High School Diploma or GED with one of the following: •5+ years of related equipment maintenance experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment •3+ years of technical/trade certification or 3+ years of technical experience •4+ years of hands-on technical experience, including military technical experience •4+ years of Field Service Engineer-level semiconductor equipment maintenance experience •6+ years of hands-on experience, including military technical experience Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
