Hiring: MEP Assistant Project Manager Company: Evans General Contractors Location: Greenville, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:47:45 Employment Type: Contract / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, SCADA About the job Experience: •1-3 years of experience in commercial construction industry, 3-5+ years is preferred •3 years of experience in commercial construction industry, 3-5+ years is preferred Required Skills: •Manage day-to-day Project activities under supervision of the Project Manager •Lead and manage coordination of complex MEP systems throughout the design process, BIM coordination, submittal and construction of the project. •Perform QAQC on MEP scopes to ensure compliance with client expectations and Contract Documents. •Understanding of low voltage systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Alarm, Security and Telecom •Perform tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc. •Keep track of and report on project progress specific to MEP installations •Assists in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports detailing the status of the Project •Solicit and obtain bids from subcontractors and material suppliers Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering •Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction industry, 3-5+ years is preferred •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to build and maintain strong working relationships •Self-starter with a high degree of personal responsibility and integrity •Must be able to work in a field construction environment which includes walking in rough terrain •Demonstrated capacity to work in adverse weather conditions •Travel long distances, depending on assigned project(s) location •Demonstrated capacity to work more than 40 hours a week and weekend assignments •Evans General Contractors, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
