Required Skills: •If you enjoy getting to know people, understanding what they need, and finding ways to make their financial lives easier, this role puts those skills to work every day. •The work starts with creating a welcoming experience, but it doesn’t end there. You’ll use consultative conversations to understand what matters to each member and identify products, services, and solutions that can support their financial well-being. •Your day may include processing transactions with accuracy, opening memberships and deposit accounts, or helping a member navigate a consumer lending application. You’ll also introduce members to digital banking and self-service tools when they can make managing their finances more convenient. •The goal is to make each interaction feel personal and purposeful. Whether you’re helping with a simple transaction or having a deeper financial conversation, you’ll balance operational accuracy with the relationship-building that sets the experience apart. •Building Relationships Beyond the Financial Center •Strong member relationships often continue after the initial conversation. You’ll conduct outbound outreach, schedule appointments, and follow up on opportunities to deepen those relationships. You’ll also support community engagement efforts by welcoming and onboarding members connected to community events and partnerships. •Along the way, you’ll work toward established service, membership growth, referral, digital adoption, and production goals. Meeting those goals is important, but so is how you get there—through thoughtful conversations, appropriate recommendations, and a consistent focus on doing what is right for the member. •You’ll also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, security, and compliance that keep the Financial Center running smoothly. Following operational procedures, security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines ensures members can trust both the service they receive and the way their financial information is handled.
