Location: Knoxville, TN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:08:14 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel About the job Required Skills: •This Is What You’ll Do •Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions in accordance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP. •Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk). •Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure. •Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders. •Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed. •Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments. •Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed. Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motor tasks such as drawing blood. •Demonstrated capacity to tug, lift, and pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds. •Demonstrated capacity to reach, bend, and stoop as necessary. •Demonstrated capacity to use a computer and other office equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to navigate the office environment safely, including stairs and elevators (if applicable). •Demonstrated capacity to use assistive devices if needed for mobility or communication. •Demonstrated capacity to utilize personal protective equipment (PPE). •Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens. •Demonstrated capacity to view monitors less than 18” from face for extended periods. •Demonstrated capacity to work in environments as cold as -40°C and handle dry ice occasionally.
