Hiring: Medical Laboratory Scientist Lead Company: Texas Health Resources Location: Arlington, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:34:26 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : HIPAA About the job Experience: •4 Years experience/and training in a Medical Laboratory is required •2 Years leadership experience preferred Required Skills: •Assists bench technologist in solving QC and technical problems •Reviews, evaluates and oversees corrective action for monthly QC •Oversees distribution, reviews returned results, completes corrective action as needed •Prepares reports for Clinical Pathologist as needed •Participates on CI and Process Improvement teams •Documents review for selected result and/or maintenance logs, billing programs, etc. •Adheres to CAP checklist requirements •Performs ongoing and periodic review of policies and procedures as defined by the Laboratory regulatory agency and revises as needed for compliance Qualifications: •Prepares and/or assists in bench, daily, weekend and holiday schedules •Makes adjustments for workload, maintenance and unscheduled workflow problems •Maintains all requirements for MLS job code •Adheres to section, laboratory, hospital and system guidelines, procedures and policies •Models compliance behavior in all regulatory requirements •Provides documentation for annual review •Maintains HIPAA requirements at all times •Additional Perks Of Being a Texas Health Employee •Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice. •Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).
