Company: Kaiser Permanente Location: Seattle, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 14:09:10 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Required Skills: •Assists Gastroenterologists and RNs with colonoscopy and panednoscopy procedures and treatment of patients. Provides patient care, room set-up and turn-over, sterilization of equipment, and other duties when needed. Provides each patient a safe, comfortable, and private environment. •Use high level disinfection techniques to clean endoscopy scopes via manual cleaning and/or washes sterilizers. Coordinate supply with Central Sterile Technician (CSR) ensuring safe practice and handling of scopes. •Assist in the collection and labeling of specimens and preparation for pathology analysis. •Reviews and communicates to physician and other medical providers appointment schedule to determine patient visit order and solicits special instructions or requests for the day, greets and escorts patient to examination or treatment room in a respectful, warm, and caring manner. •Lead and oversee room set-up and turn-over throughout the day. Ensure the correct equipment is in place, pre-test for safety and functionality. Ensure correct and sufficient supplies are readily available. •Perform other duties as assigned.
