Required Skills: •Analyze and interpret data, formulate, and solve problems. •Assist with proposal development for professional services. •Provide direction on assigned tasks to engineers, technicians, and administrative staff. •Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work. •Attend meetings and present specific components of assignments. •Work within AutoCAD to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines. •Perform field investigations/ site visits as needed. •Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adoptions and modifications to create schematic. Qualifications: •4-6+ years in mechanical engineering design experience is required. •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. •Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required. •Required to be technical in the mechanical engineering field. •Prior experience creating/designing internal piping processes and/or working on commercial and/or industrial structures is a plus. •Demonstrated capacity to use advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in developing designs. •Demonstrated capacity to perform QA/QC on drawings from drafters, designers, and/or design engineers on projects. •Demonstrated capacity to assist in the education and development of design staff and act as a resource for design questions. •Solid functional working knowledge of Industry Standard (ISA) P & ID development and evaluation. •Advanced skills in Revit and proficient in CAD.
