Required Skills: •Utilize advanced modeling, multi-physics simulation, and optimization techniques to design high-performance actuators, maximizing torque density, efficiency, and dynamic response while minimizing thermal and structural bottlenecks. •Develop structural and kinematic systems that define the physical capabilities of advanced mobile robots, specifically focusing on the rapid development of prototype mechanisms. •Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (ASME Y14.5), ensuring designs meet the performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards required for precision robotics hardware. •Architect, select, and integrate drivetrain systems and apply deep expertise in electromagnetic motor architecture, precision gear design, bearing arrangements and lubrication methods to optimize torque density, backlash, and efficiency. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. •Deep technical expertise in robotics mechanical design, including considerations for dynamic loads, shock/vibration isolation, and thermal management. •High proficiency in advanced CAD modeling, Finite Element Analysis, and rapid fabrication techniques. •We are pushing the boundaries across multiple domains.
