Assure adequate analysis to achieve performance objectives. Perform static, dynamic and heat transfer analyses of mechanical structures. Analyze data and document results. •Coordinate Validation of Design. Coordinate the fabrication and environmental testing of design hardware. Design and procure prototype hardware. Coordinate the environmental testing of hardware including: vibration, shock, thermal, fatigue and others as required. Review and document results. Assist in product transition to Operations as required. •Prepare Documentation: Generate, review and approve the technical content of drawings, engineering specifications, reports and other documentation associated with the mechanical design. Prepare design review packages and present for internal review. •Support Continuous Improvement: Ensure compliance with IEWS' Quality System and the Mechanical Design Process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in mechanical engineering disciplines.
