Assist to analyze and interpret engineering concepts and specifications and to plan and organize research procedures. •Consistently & accurately update project management system for all assigned projects &/or tasks. If applicable, provide limited support for less experienced engineers to help facilitate their projects. •Interact with customers on engineering design and any questions/problems they may have. Direct and/or coordinate assigned engineering activities required to determine customer needs and requirements relative to products manufactured by the company. •Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply to company. •Lead and oversee the application of sound engineering principles, extent and adequacy of exploratory research and techniques, and the basic designs, construction and testing of pilot models. •Assist as necessary in resolving production problems.
