Required Skills: •The Mechanical Engineer will support the planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, desalination plants, water reuse facilities, and related infrastructure projects. •Engineering & Design Support •Assist in the evaluation of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. •Actively facilitate and support selection and specification of pumps, blowers, compressors, valves, piping systems, screens, mixers, and other process equipment. •Prepare technical reports, equipment data sheets, and design documentation. •Review vendor submittals, equipment drawings, and technical specifications. •Assist in the development of mechanical layouts, P&IDs, and construction drawings. •Project Support Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. •Exposure to hydraulic calculations, pumping systems, and process equipment selection. •Operational familiarity with applicable standards such as AWWA, ASME, ANSI, and Hydraulic Institute standards. •Mechanical design fundamentals. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
