Hiring: Mechanical Engineer, Integration Company: Persistent Systems, LLC Location: Fort Collins, CO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:46:20 Target Skills & Keywords : Aerospace Engineering, MATLAB, Program Management, R, Root Cause Analysis, Security Clearance, SolidWorks, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration About the job Experience: •4 years of experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent 3D modeling programs •Demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain technical documentation such as ICDs, specifications, interface drawings, and engineering reports. •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engineering deliverables and priorities. •Proficiency in data collection and analysis Required Skills: •Maintain an expert knowledge of Persistent Systems products to build customer relationships through interpreting and developing their requirements •Create, modify, and maintain system-level mechanical drawings and assemblies using SolidWorks. •Develop system layouts, interface drawings, installation drawings, and other engineering drawings as required. •Create, maintain, and update Interface Control Documents (ICDs) defining mechanical, electrical, physical, functional, and/or system interfaces. •Coordinate with engineering disciplines and external/internal stakeholders to identify, define, and resolve system interface requirements. •Prepare, update, review, and maintain Government CDRLs and other contractually required engineering documentation. •Actively facilitate and support development and maintenance of system specifications, requirements documentation, technical reports, design documentation, and engineering analyses. •Assist with system architecture, functional decomposition, requirements allocation, and technical baseline development. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering •Operational familiarity with MIL-STD and other government engineering standards and requirements. •Proficiency in advanced technical software packages such as Wireshark and/or MATLAB •Possess an active Secret US Security Clearance •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
