Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree. •Able to support multiple projects simultaneously utilizing advanced project management tools, methods, and applications. •Operational familiarity with and understanding of various International Standards relating to valves. •Computer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design, Solid works and/or Inventor. •Engineering analysis using appropriate methods, such as calculation, testing or FEA. •Capable of reading, interpreting, and creating engineering drawings, especially relating to manufacturability and tolerancing. •Effective oral and written communications. •3 + years’ experience in product engineering, particularly on industrial type products in a manufacturing environment. •E xperience in industrial process valve design. Specifically, experience with quarter turn valves, such as butterfly, plug or ball valves. •Knowledge of various materials utilized in industrial products, such as steel alloys and non-metallic sealing elements.
