Required Skills: •We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to join our team and lead product development efforts from concept through production. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable products while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards. •This position is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer who thrives in a manufacturing environment and has experience with product design, new product development, and industrial equipment. •Execute the Product Design & Development (PDD) process from concept through production release. •Design and develop mechanical products and components using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling tools. •Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure designs are cost-effective and manufacturable. •Create, maintain, and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs). •Support new product development initiatives and continuous product improvements. •Develop detailed drawings, models, and engineering documentation. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. •Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design, mechanical design, or design for manufacturing. •Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. •In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. •Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. •Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication. •Exposure to manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or machining environments. •This is an onsite position with flexibility for occasional remote work related to personal appointments or family commitments. Following six months of employment, team members are eligible for one remote workday per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).
