Qualifications: •Design and modification to Solidworks models of Yaskawa’s Medium Voltage Drives •Investigates, approves, and implements changes to product, via ECO, to resolve issues or to improve product design. •Design/modify sheet metal and weldment drawings, as required, to YAI mechanical drawing standards. •Create 2D parts drawings from 3D models to YAI mechanical drawing standards •Generate/modify bills of materials in SAP MRP system. •Troubleshoot assembly issues with mechanical designs on the factory floor. •Perform mechanical strength calculations and/or simulations if required. •Participate in Product Development System (PDS) review team.
