Required Skills: •This position is located at our Phoenix, AZ site. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a flexible balance between in-office and remote work after an initial 90-day period. •Participate in cooled and uncooled turbine mechanical or thermal design efforts. •Participate in the development of Model-Based Systems Engineering processes and documents. •Implement 2D and 3D finite element modeling techniques using analytical tools such as NX and ANSYS. Execute complex axial turbine-related design and analysis efforts with an integrated team of engineers. •Effectively support complex projects involving multiple organizations to successfully complete all assignments. •Support continuous process improvement projects within the organization. •Communicate technical results to internal and external customers. •Travel, up to 10%, may be expected. Qualifications: •Support engine tests and functional tests for engine certification or RCCA efforts. •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
