Our engineers help customers strengthen grid reliability, integrate renewable energy, and modernize critical power and water infrastructure across North America. •If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson's Power & Water Solutions business has an exciting opportunity based in Blue Bell, PA or Cranberry Township, PA for a Mechanical Design Engineer •Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical models, assemblies, and fabrication drawings using CAD design tools. •Design and develop custom automation equipment, instrumentation mounting systems, sensor assemblies, brackets, supports, and mechanical interfaces. •Create tubing, piping, installation, and equipment layout drawings that support automation and control systems. Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience •Proficiency with CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar platforms. •Knowledge of industrial equipment, instrumentation, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. •Understanding of GD&T principles and engineering drawing standards. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics. •Strong troubleshooting, technical communication, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams. •Willing and able to travel up to 15% within North America, as needed. •Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
