Location: Gulfport, MS Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 11:29:18 About the job Experience: •100+ years of historical strength and stability Required Skills: •Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Company fleet equipment to include, class 1-8 diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts by performing the essential job duties. •What Your Day Will Look Like •Perform various preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on all types of fleet equipment •Troubleshoots mechanical and electronic malfunctions, perform all types of repairs, rebuild/replace major equipment components •Perform emergency roadside services as needed •Research and order parts, accurately record usage, and asset in managing stock inventory •Complete electronic work orders, ensure all information is recorded in computerized maintenance system •Assist team members with troubleshooting & repairs, researching parts, and inspecting equipment Qualifications: •Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies •Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job •Demonstrated capacity to read, write and speak English •Demonstrated capacity to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines •Demonstrated capacity to maintain safety and security of Company assets •Demonstrated capacity to utilize all Company provided resources and technology •Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience •Advance knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on light duty, heavy duty and material handling equipment •Demonstrated capacity to operate hand tools and others such as bench grinders, torch, drill press, jacks and jack stands, Sawzall, etc. as required to perform work Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
