Required Skills: •The Material Coordinator at Viavi Solutions Inc. is responsible for the accurate and timely movement, storage, and control of materials within the company's operations. This role ensures efficient material flow to support production schedules and inventory accuracy. •Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy and damage. •Perform put-away functions for received materials into designated storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization. •Pick and stage materials for production orders, ensuring accurate quantities and correct part numbers. •Conduct inventory counts (cycle counting, physical inventory) and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy. •Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. •Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation in accordance with company procedures. •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and material handling areas.
