Required Skills: •Physically handles materials and compares the inbound shipment to the carriers and supplier’s documentation. Identifies materials and assigns the appropriate parts number and location for storage. Ensures that damaged materials are identified and processed for return to vendor(s) and notifies the appropriate departments. •Physically handles both loading and unloading of materials and transfer to the assigned storage location. •Issue materials to O&M technicians. •Notifies procurement and quality of inbound receiving damage or count discrepancies. •Handles cycle counts of inventory, identifying shortages and issues. Working with site personnel on correcting and reporting issues. Deal with any stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently. •Assist production personal in obtaining proper parts, while maintaining proper records on parts sent and received for repair. Will maintain consumable inventory and assure a minimal stock is always on hand. •Prepares materials and required documentation for outbound shipments, including notification of carriers and tracking of the shipment. •Escort vendors/contractors in and out of the facility. (May be required to pick up or deliver materials to customers or suppliers.) Qualifications: •High School diploma/GED •Basic English reading, comprehension, writing and mathematics skills.
