The Brain Interfaces Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for the design, build, and testing of all mechanical systems in our implant and charger. •Perform mechanical/electrical assembly of implant and charger components, subassemblies, and integration of final assemblies •Build small implant subassemblies involving custom micron-scale electrode arrays and SoC with high precision •Operate equipment, such as flip-chip bonders and laser welders •Execute equipment maintenance and calibration •Package final products for delivery •Maintain parts inventory •Run functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, and test execution Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent •Excellent verbal and written communication •Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable; no task is too big or too small •Demonstrated capacity to work reliably with small and delicate components where precision is critical •Demonstrated capacity to maintain a clean and organized workspace •Demonstrated capacity to follow strict SOPs, safety protocols and quality standards •Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment •Basic familiarity with Google Suite (e.g., documents, spreadsheets, presentations) •Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings and work instructions Compensation: •Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance through a PPO plan Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
