Hiring: Manufacturing Project Engineer III Company: Andersen Corporation Location: Bayport, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:20:48 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, C, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Systems Design About the job Experience: •Project management skills •Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles •Knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability •Positive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both our internal and external customers •Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups Required Skills: •Lead or support project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new equipment and processes. •Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements •Interface with design, product engineering, supply chain, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability and process capability of new products or product extensions. •Provide expert recommendations regarding the viability of developed design solutions that relate to new or current processes. •Lead/facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events. •Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans. •Develop specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines. •Partner with the Safety group to ensure all new or modified processes meet or exceed corporate safety requirements.
