Required Skills: •Samtec is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator to work in our Optical Engine assembly area in our Colorado Springs, Colorado location. This is a second •Responsible for inspection of advanced products and operation of semiconductor backend equipment (Wirebonders, including wedge and ball, Automated die attach equipment). •Read, understand and follow processing instructions for assembly processes. •Possess the dexterity necessary to perform manual and automated assembly processes. •Control and operate computerized microelectronic assembly equipment. •Handling of silicon wafers and other materials with considerable care. •Operate high precision metrology and inspection microscopes and disposition materials with details regarding accept/reject status. •Must be able to use a microscope for extended periods of time. Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to work in a clean work environment. •Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs. •High school diploma or equivalent required. •On the job training as appropriate.
