Hiring: Manufacturing/Production Engineer Company: Kforce Inc Location: Orem, UT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:09:25 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, C, C++, CAD, Linux, Python, SolidWorks About the job Experience: •6+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering environment Required Skills: •Support day-to-day manufacturing and production operations by identifying and resolving process, equipment, and design-related issues •Partner closely with technicians and production personnel to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput •Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams on new product introduction (NPI) activities and design for manufacturability (DFM) initiatives •Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and production procedures •Design, specify, or implement production tooling, fixtures, jigs, and equipment improvements •Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including non-conforming materials and returned products •Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, manufacturability, and operational excellence •Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, electrical, software, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex production challenges Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience •3-6+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering environment •Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms •Strong hands-on engineering capabilities with the ability to work directly on the production floor •Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a manufacturing environment •Excellent communication and collaboration skills •Exposure to automation, scripting, or programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Linux-based systems are a plus but not required •Background supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives •In-depth knowledge of manufacturing workflows, production line support, and continuous improvement methodologies •Demonstrated capacity to quickly diagnose and resolve real-time production issues in a fast-paced environment Compensation: •$85,000 - $105,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
