Required Skills: •Design, development, and qualification of fixtures and gauges for turbine blades, vanes and other components •Creation and maintenance of complex 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using NX. •Create Manufacturing Quality Control Plans (MQCP), Product Process Qualification (PPQ_ documents, Critical to Quality (CTQ) and machining setup drawings. •Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing engineer(s) and production to ensure fixturing is designed to meet their performance expectations •Lead fixture projects through all phases; conception, R&D, qualification, production implementation, and continued production support •Interface directly with production personnel to implement, troubleshoot, and improve fixtures and gauges and their associated processes •Engage in fixture optimization projects to achieve cost savings. •Skilled in interpretation of product and manufacturing drawings and specifications Qualifications: •2–4-year degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or 4+ years relevant and proven manufacturing technician/engineering experience.
