Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer, Rocket Motor Systems Company: Anduril Industries Location: Morrisville, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:24:09 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, CAD, Computer Vision About the job Experience: •3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing solid rocket motor cases and/or nozzles Required Skills: •Interface directly with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building and insulating metallic and composite solid rocket motor cases and tooling in close conjunction with design engineering release •Interface directly with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building composite nozzles and tooling in close conjunction with design engineering release •Design tooling necessary for the manufacture of press molded parts •Write manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions, process specifications, MBOMs, quality plans, inspection requirements, non-conformances, while also completing said work instructions, quality plans, and inspections alongside a team of technicians and inspectors •Work as a conduit between the engineering technical data packages and the technicians to ensure hardware and tooling are manufactured as designed/analyzed •Solve manufacturing problems in schedule-driven environment under the constraints of detailed specifications and requirements to achieve the needed quality •Develop manufacturing processes to lower risk as the product moves from its prototype/LRIP phase into FRP •Drive work cell design and optimization to ensure quality and efficiency targets are maintained and managed Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technology related field •A genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T •Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred) •Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills, with backing examples •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance •Demonstrated capacity to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Morrisville, NC. •Proficiency in TeamCenter for digital manufacturing processes •Metallic Case and Nozzle manufacturing processes •Understanding of CNC Machining operation and limitations – 5-axis routers, lathes, mills, etc Compensation: •$89,000 - $121,000 / year •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
