Required Skills: •Design, develop, and improve tooling and equipment across roll forming, press operations, and assembly processes. •Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors on tooling design, procurement, and implementation. •Optimize machine setups, changeovers, and tooling performance to reduce downtime and scrap. •Ensure equipment and tooling readiness for new product integration. •Identify and eliminate equipment issues impacting uptime, quality, or safety. •Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for mechanical failures. •Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies through equipment analysis and design improvements. •Drive continuous improvement in OEE and equipment reliability. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical (preferred), Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. •Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiar with Lean tools. •Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently. •Operational familiarity with PLCs, automation, and inline quality systems. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. •Continuous learner with a focus on personal development and adaptability. •Willingness to be visible on the shop floor and engage with team members daily. •Commitment to “Walk the Talk” leadership, setting the standard for compliance and continuous improvement. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. •Assumes other duties as assigned by leadership.
