Required Skills: •The Manufacturing Engineer supports and improves Plant 3 assembly operations by applying engineering expertise to resolve manufacturing issues, improve equipment performance, support quality and safety requirements, and implement efficient, reliable processes. •Support Operations and Trades in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues. •Support product quality investigations, corrective actions, and process improvements. •Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities. •Lead or support equipment development, specification, validation, installation, and retooling projects. •Plan and execute assigned projects, including tooling budget management as required. •Ensure safety and ergonomic requirements are understood, documented, and followed. •Communicate with Engineering, Operations, Trades, Quality, and other stakeholders to meet business and customer needs. Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of assembly processes such as pressing, fastening, fixturing, vision systems, data collection, and tool design. •Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls, automation, and robotics. •Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. •Proficient computer skills and ability to manage technical documentation. •Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods such as Fast-X, Shainin, or Six Sigma preferred.
