Required Skills: •Develop and improve manufacturing processes as required to meet production demand. •Interface directly with the NPD team to deliver new products on time. Includes: capacity and capability assessment, process selection and development, SOP development, cell design & implementation, control plan development and capital project justification & implementation. •Lead continuous improvement activities to improve manufacturing operations. •Lead Kaizen events as needed. •Interface with colleagues, customers, vendors and others to understand requirements, assess feasibility of new/existing products, and improve production techniques. •Analyze technology trends, plans and executes capital projects. •Define Process and equipment capabilities. •Clearly communicate data and feedback to other departments so decisions can be timely and optimized. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific, or a technical discipline or associates degree in related field with a combination of 2 years relevant work experience required. •3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required. •Demonstrated capacity to apply advanced mathematical and statistical concepts. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. •Lean Six Sigma Training and experience is required. •Master’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is desirable. •Six Sigma Greenbelt certification preferred.
