Hiring: Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Company: TT Electronics plc Location: Olathe, KS Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 12:48:09 Target Skills & Keywords : Lean Manufacturing, PLC, Project Management, REST, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and technical specifications. •Operational familiarity with GD&T, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Testability (DFT). •Aerospace and/or defense manufacturing experience preferred. •This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Required Skills: •Responsible for applying electrical engineering principles within the Manufacturing Engineering organization to support the manufacture of electronic and electromechanical products. •This position develops and improves manufacturing processes, supports production by resolving technical issues, enhances quality, throughput, and cost, and leads the implementation of new products into production. •Lead the implementation and transition of new electronic and electromechanical products into manufacturing. •Provide electrical engineering support to production by troubleshooting manufacturing, test, and product-related issues. •Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. •Design and implement manufacturing tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and process improvements. •Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, routings, process specifications, and standard operating procedures. •Perform root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for manufacturing and field issues. Qualifications: •Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and electronic manufacturing processes. •Proficiency in root cause analysis, structured problem solving, and corrective action methodologies •Solid functional working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. •Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. •Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. •Knowledge of manufacturing process validation, process controls, and continuous improvement best practices. •Demonstrated capacity to perform the essentials of the job with or without reasonable accommodation (ADA). •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
