The ideal candidate will have at least 3 or more years of machining experience •Microwave Techniques LLC is a subsidiary of The Elmet Group (ELMT), a publicly traded company. •Effectively operate lathes, mills, Bridgeports, drill presses, routers, etc. (Including specialized production equipment after an instructional period). •Set-up and fixturing for manual machines •Demonstrated capacity to optimize feeds and speeds for all machining operations •Maintain adjustment of machine(s) to produce consistent quality product •Interpret specifications and blueprints required for manufacture and perform dimensional verification using appropriate measuring devices Qualifications: •3 or more years' experience as a Manual Machinist Preferred •Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. •Strong time management and organizational skills •Strong planning and documentation skills, detail focused •Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced deadline driven production environment. •Demonstrated capacity to perform mathematical calculations including converting fractions to decimals •Demonstrated capacity to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically active work •Demonstrated capacity to interpret blueprints, setup sheets and work tickets •Willingness to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
