Required Skills: •Ensure the cash management and treasury operations functions are carried out in accordance with company policy and make recommendations for new and/or changed policy statements which, if approved, will improve operations and/or productivity. •Manage and provide guidance to Treasury Analysts regarding daily funding and ensure the proper funding of all bank accounts. •Actively facilitate and support development of cash flow projections to forecast short, intermediate and long-term cash needs. •Assist Treasury Director to develop and coordinate banking relationships, negotiate competitive fee structures, manage bank accounts, evaluate and coordinate implementation of any new bank services as needed. •Manage the company’s liquidity portfolio (including bank deposits, money market funds, and other short-term investments) to maximize return while maintaining sufficient liquidity. •Evaluate, recommend, and develop opportunities for the improvement of the company’s liquidity position through improved deposit and/or disbursement techniques. •Provide subject matter expert guidance on all company projects that require treasury or banking support. •Keep abreast of changes in banking and insurance regulations that may impact Blue Cross NC, as well as advances in banking technology and services which may be of benefit to operations within the area.
