Required Skills: •Serve as Tax SME on strategic initiatives, ensuring tax laws and compliance requirements are addressed. •Develop and execute project plans, including risk mitigation, communication strategies, and documentation. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove obstacles and support day-to-day project operations. •Lead testing efforts, defining test plans, analyzing results, and coordinating remediation of defects. •Maintain strong relationships with business partners, aligning tax project plans with company objectives. •Advocate for tax initiatives, gaining buy-in from leadership and stakeholders through clear communication. •Manage audits effectively, defending CarMax’s tax positions and ensuring full compliance.
