Technology is at the center of making that possible. •As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll help shape the systems, teams, and engineering culture that power one of the most innovative universities in the country. •As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll lead one or more engineering teams, typically spanning 5-15 software engineers. You'll partner closely with Product, Program Management, Architecture, and other technology leaders to deliver impactful solutions while building a strong engineering organization. •Lead and Grow Exceptional Teams •Create an environment where engineers can do the best work of their careers. •Hire, develop, coach, and retain high-performing engineers. •Provide meaningful feedback through regular coaching, performance conversations, and career development planning. •Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering •Strong software engineering foundation with significant hands-on development experience. •Demonstrated ability to drive execution across complex initiatives. •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. •Knowledge of modern application architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-based technologies •Operational familiarity with higher education, EdTech, or mission-driven organizations. Compensation: •$151,800 - $250,500 / year •This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed. Additional travel may be assigned as needed to support business requirements.
