Hiring: Manager, Security - Today Show Company: NBCUniversal Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:11:35 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Epic Systems, Project Management About the job Experience: •Previous experience supporting live production •Established project management skills and experience •Strong working knowledge of emerging trends of corporate security and/or law enforcement information managerial programs •Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, dealing effectively with all levels of management. •Demonstrated capacity to build and sustain excellent relationships at multiple levels and across divisions Required Skills: •Oversee emergency evacuation procedures, active shooter training, and threat assessments •Serve as a strong leader and mentor to the guard staff while managing the guard force during your tour, up to twenty personnel •Oversee the training of the different areas of responsibilities for the guards •Verify that the process of loading and unloading live studio audiences is consistent with our standard. •Plan and execute drills with your team to ensure all staff are prepared to face multiple crisis scenarios. •Assess current security posture of your team and adjust as needed in real time •Verify that security devices and equipment are accounted for and in proper working order •Proper documentation of all incidents Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent working experience •5+ years of professional experience in law enforcement, military, corporate security, and/or a related role with executive level experience •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Operational experience and the ability to respond quickly to security concerns in real time. •Must be willing to be on call and available 24/7 for emergencies •HR 218 or New York State Security License a plus Compensation: •$85,000 - $110,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
