Required Skills: •The ideal candidate has strong experience in finance and is well versed in music publishing royalties (including performing rights income). In addition, the candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented and possesses the ability to identify opportunities and execute optimizations within the revenue streams. •Revenue Operations & Collection Management •Assist with onboarding newly acquired music publishing catalogs, ensuring accurate setup of revenue sources, rights, and reporting. •Manage cash tracking process to include the review of cash collections and royalty statements to confirm revenues are properly matched to the correct entity, artist, payor, and earnings period. •Monitor expected royalty receipts and proactively follow up with labels, collection societies, publishers, and other payors when statements or payments are delayed. •Revenue Assurance, Financial Analysis & Forecasting •Perform variance analyses comparing actual cash receipts to forecasted revenues and identify key drivers of differences. •Analyze catalog performance trends, including revenue growth, new releases, contractual royalty rate changes, catalog activity, and other performance metrics. Qualifications: •Manager, Revenue Operations •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Music Business, or a related field. •In-depth knowledge of music publishing revenue streams, royalty reporting, licensing, and royalty statement processing. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial databases, SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is preferred. •Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to executives and cross-functional teams. •Knowledge of music publishing agreements, royalty calculations, and valuation methodologies. •Operational familiarity with ERP systems and music industry royalty platforms.
