Required Skills: •Lead and manage the Program Quality Engineering team to ensure that programs receive the highest level of Quality support to execute on-time and to contract compliance. •Develop and implement quality engineering strategies and processes to drive quality improvements through our internal ZDP approach and ensure compliance with industry standards (AS9100). •Partner cross-functionally with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to integrate quality engineering practices throughout the product lifecycle. •Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality documentation, such as quality manuals, procedures, and reports. •Review and support the team in quality assurance portion of proposal, RFPs and/or Basis of Estimate (BOE). •Utilize advanced quality tools and techniques FMEA, Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control to drive continuous improvement. •Manage, guide and assist in the resolution of complex quality issues and root cause investigations. •Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is effectively implemented and maintained. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field and a minimum of 9 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. •Master's degree, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. •In-depth knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949. •Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving significant quality improvements. •Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. •Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. •Proficient with quality engineering software and tools. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a Secret clearance. •7 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role is preferred.
