Hiring: Manager, Process Engineering Company: Knauf North America Location: McGregor, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 14:56:56 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Project Management, Root Cause Analysis, SAP, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Process Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment involving product trials, customer complaints and product testing •Minimum three (3) years of experience leading, supervising or managing high-performing teams in a similar environment Required Skills: •This position is required to be onsite. •Works closely with Plant Management and functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements across the business. •Maintains process operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing project, operational and personnel policies and procedures. •Initiates and leads projects that improve end-to-end processes, including the setup, validation and auditing of measurement systems to deliver measurable business impact. •Resolves quality issues by identifying problems, evaluating solutions, implementing action plans and providing the necessary resources. •Leads the Engineering Team at the plant. •Communicates key initiatives to the Manager, Plant Operations. •Drives productivity and process improvement projects aligned with business initiatives. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field •Lean Six Sigma training/certification preferred •Demonstrated capacity to lead and train others in a fast-paced environment •Demonstrated capacity to establish KPIs and hold direct reports accountable for consistently achieving goals •Demonstrated capacity to motivate and energise a team to deliver strong solutions •Demonstrated capacity to make quick, thorough decisions that positively impact the organisation •Demonstrated capacity to identify problems and process improvement opportunities and develop creative solutions •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with groups of customers and with employees at all levels of the organisation •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment •Demonstrated capacity to travel approximately 10% of the time, as needed Compensation: •401(k) Retirement Plan (earn 100% matching on your first 6% contribution and fully vested day one) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
