Required Skills: •Lead a team of tax professionals in administering the indirect tax compliance, audit, and accounting processes for our US legal entities. •Lead the corporate indirect tax audit defense team and support our positions both prospectively and during audit. •Propose and enable strategies for lessening the corporate tax burden for indirect taxes and its accounting impact. •Participate in a cross functional team on several technology transformation initiatives to ensure the needs of the indirect tax team are properly identified and implemented. •Provide guidance to the Indirect Tax team members and empower their professional development through building the bench for succession planning, growth, and scalability. •Bring a continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement process improvement ideas to reduce cycle times and/or improve the quality of the data. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. •Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain impact of business or corporate strategy on tax liabilities. Qualifications: •Manage tax compliance to ensure timely and accurate filings of multiple tax types including sales/use tax, VAT, gross receipts, annual reports, property tax, unclaimed property, environmental fees, and business licenses. •Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant indirect tax experience with 1+ year of progressive management/leadership experience.
