This role reports to the HR Director. •Partner with Metro Chicago leaders to understand current and future business strategies and translate into effective people solutions •Drive talent management strategies, including semi-annual performance reviews, succession planning, employee development, and retention •Act as an advisor to employees and leaders to navigate challenging situations by applying comprehensive knowledge in local and federal labor laws and firm policies and procedures •Support employees throughout their career lifecycle by managing the onboarding and offboarding processes •Develop strong relationships and coach leaders on employee relations matters, organizational effectiveness, talent decisions, and succession planning •Partner cross-functionally with Centers of Excellence to implement firmwide programs and initiatives Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree required •Human Resources certification – SHRM or HRCI (SPHR/PHR) preferred and required within 12 months of joining the firm •Professional services or consulting experience desired •Comprehensive knowledge in HR principles, including relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations •Strong business acumen and business fluency to understand how the firm operates and identify and interpret levers that impact firm performance •Strong verbal / written communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills •Understands and can articulate compensation principles and practices with clients •Effective organization / time management skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks •Thrives in an ambiguous environment and is a self-starter •Demonstrated capacity to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek, and implement change to drive business improvement Compensation: •$110,000 - $145,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
