Required Skills: •Leads engineering teams in the design, development, integration, and testing of IFE software systems, applying SAFe Agile practices to deliver scalable and aviation compliant solutions. Incorporates AI/ML technologies to enhance personalization, predictive capabilities, and system efficiency across IFE platforms. •What You Will Be Doing •Lead engineering teams in the research, design, development, integration, and testing of In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) software systems and platforms. •Provide technical leadership across software design, development, coding, debugging, and implementation for new and existing products. •Ensure adherence to industry standard engineering concepts, methodologies, and development practices. •Support requirements development based on specifications, user inputs, system behaviors, and preliminary design concepts. •Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance product capability, reduce cost, and meet environmental and regulatory constraints. •Architect and integrate AI/ML technologies to enhance personalization, predictive analytics, system intelligence, and operational efficiency across IFE platforms. Qualifications: •4 year degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or other Technical Degree. •5+ years of experience in software engineering or 9+ years of relevant software experience in lieu of a 4 year degree. •Cabin avionics and In-flight entertainment experience highly preferred. •Solid functional working knowledge of designing, development, coding, testing, debugging and implementing technical projects for the fabrication, modification and evaluation of new or existing software solutions or products. •Proficient with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Software Engineering field. •Proficient in designing and developing requirements from specifications, oral instructions, or preliminary sketches. •Agile software development and DevOps skills preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to facilitate organizational transformation to support business strategy. •Demonstrated ability to drive ownership and accountability in delivering quality products on time to customers. •Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement test methods and procedures.
