Hiring: Maintenance Technician - Utilities (12 Hour Nights – Rotating Weekends) Company: fairlife Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:13:43 About the job Required Skills: •Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain utilities equipment. •Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability and performance of utility systems. •Perform work order repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments, including complete documentation. •Manage and coordinate work performed by contractors. •Fabricate, modify, and innovate new or existing equipment to improve performance and reliability. •Maintain a safe working environment and ensure good housekeeping standards. •Partner cross-functionally with team members to plan, analyze, and improve process quality. •Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Post‑secondary education or technical trade certification. •EPA 608 Type II or Type III Refrigerant Handling Certification. •Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and reaching. •Exposure to loud noise, dust, dirt, sparks, oil, smoke, and varying indoor/outdoor environments. •Use of PPE such as hearing protection, hair/beard nets, safety shoes, gloves, hard hat, and safety eyewear. •Regular use of machinery, tools, and equipment including forklifts (gas and electric), telehandlers, scissor lifts, articulating man‑lifts, power tools, test instruments, welding and cutting tools, and computers. •Work performed in both manufacturing and outdoor plant environments. •Must follow all PPE, sanitation, hygiene, and GMP requirements. •Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety. •Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
