Component is defined as part of an electrical or mechanical system. Demonstrates basic competency in at least one MED discipline; mechanical and/or electrical. •Demonstrates knowledge of basic problem-solving tools (e.g. -why-why analysis, PPA, APS, etc.) and uses these independently to solve routine equipment troubles. Demonstrates ability to solve routine equipment problems using sound troubleshooting approach and recommends countermeasures for approval. •Demonstrates ability to make decisions about system level issues that may impact product quality or internal customer services.
