Hiring: Maintenance Technician Company: Zing Recruiting Location: Bedford Park, IL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 10:26:52 About the job Experience: •5 to 6 years in manufacturing or plant operations •6 years in manufacturing or plant operations Required Skills: •Perform preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues in the assigned area of activity. •Conduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation and/or controls. •Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Monitor contractors on small maintenance projects. •Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines. •Maintains level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets Company’s standards and guidelines. •Perform administrative duties including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP). •May assist the Maintenance Lead and/or Supervisor in delivering technical training for the staff and following up on work orders. •May perform other tasks as assigned.
