Hiring: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift Company: Voyant Beauty Location: Elkhart, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:40:44 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •1-3 years in equipment maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment (Required) •1-3 years with CMMS software for managing work orders and recording maintenance data (Preferred) •3 years in equipment maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment (Required) •3 years with CMMS software for managing work orders and recording maintenance data (Preferred) Required Skills: •Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, to maintain peak performance and minimize downtime. •Diagnose equipment issues quickly and accurately, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to resolve mechanical or electrical malfunctions. •Coordinate with the MRO Buyer and maintenance planner to ensure the availability of necessary parts and tools for maintenance tasks, helping control inventory and reduce downtime. •Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and corrective actions, within the CMMS system to support maintenance KPIs and compliance reporting. •Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements during all maintenance tasks, conducting safety checks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment safety. •Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to coordinate maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to production and ensuring clear communication on equipment status. •Some duties may vary slightly by location. Qualifications: •High School Diploma (Required) •Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems repair. (High proficiency) •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. (High proficiency) •Problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting. (High proficiency) •Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. (High proficiency) •Effective communication and teamwork skills. (High proficiency) •Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for recordkeeping and reporting. (Low proficiency) •Proficient in using CMMS software for work order management.
