Location: Las Vegas, NV Job Posted Time: 2026-09-02 17:56:50 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Industrial Maintenance, Automation, AS/RS, Sortation Systems, Shuttle Systems, Conveyors, Material Handling, Electrical, Controls, Fabrication, Hydraulics, CMMS, Preventive Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, Reliability, Facility Maintenance, PLC, Troubleshooting, Mentoring, LOTO Experience: - 7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in highly automated environments - Extensive hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting multiple types of automated material handling systems - Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial hydraulic systems, preferably including balers, compactors, or similar material-handling equipment - Experience supporting large, highly automated facilities with multi-system equipment fleets - Experience with formal reliability methods (RCM/TPM/PM optimization) or predictive maintenance tools (thermal imaging, vibration, etc.) preferred - Military experience in relevant technical fields (e.g., electrical, mechanical, automation, avionics, or similar) considered equivalent to industry experience Required Skills: - Advanced diagnostics on automated systems including AS/RS, shuttle systems, goods-to-person automation, sortation equipment, and integrated material handling platforms - Expert troubleshooting of facility infrastructure such as power distribution, dock systems, building mechanical systems, and safety-critical assets - Light-to-medium fabrication and repair work (cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, bracket/guard fabrication) - Building maintenance and facility repairs (doors/docks, basic carpentry/patching, piping/plumbing components, mechanical systems) - Strong electrical, controls, and facility systems background - Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation discipline - Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair baler equipment and associated hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems - Use CMMS and downtime data to identify trends, prioritize reliability improvements, and reduce repeat failures - Lead formal root cause analysis for major downtime events and chronic failures - Develop technical standards, best practices, and training content - Mentor and coach Technician I–III team members - Ensure critical technical documentation (schematics, procedures, troubleshooting references) is maintained and accessible Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED; advanced technical education preferred - Demonstrated technical leadership, escalation ownership, and mentoring capability - Advanced automation, controls, or reliability training preferred - Ability to partner with Controls Engineering on system diagnostics, validation testing, and safe system recovery - Ability to serve as final technical escalation point for complex automation, controls, electrical, fabrication, and facility-related failures - May be assigned to act as a working lead for the site by coordinating daily priorities, directing on-shift work execution, leading shift handoffs, and serving as the maintenance point of contact for Operations and leadership Compensation: - Not specified in the job posting Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
