Hiring: Maintenance Tech B Company: Amrize Location: Tuscumbia, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:29:01 Target Skills & Keywords : Transformers About the job Required Skills: •The Maintenance Technician position supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. •Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be made •Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mind •Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions •Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts •Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner •Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed •Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to climb ladders, stairs, and perform duties on an elevated platform •Demonstrated capacity to kneel, bend, reach and stoop •Demonstrated capacity to read, interpret and utilize drawings and diagrams (electrical, piping, P&ID) •Demonstrated capacity to pass a Mobile Equipment test •Demonstrated capacity to sit for prolonged periods of time for training and data entry purposes •Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
