Required Skills: •Schedules, trains, supervises, and evaluates maintenance personnel. This includes ensuring the maintenance team is fully compliant with all required training. •Prioritizes work orders and follows up on assignments to ensure timely completion. •Supports the after-hours Emergency Call program. •Lead and oversee all company-owned equipment and small tools. •Participates and supervises the make-ready of vacant units as necessary. •Makes regular inspections of the property. •Prepares purchase orders and orders all parts and supplies. •Ensures compliance with all preventive maintenance procedures. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. •Advanced training or degree in building maintenance, management, construction, skilled trades, or other related subject preferred. •Previous experience with administrative reporting and Yardi preferred. •Previous experience managing others preferred. •Have knowledge of the following trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance. •Perform work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally. •Requires a self-motivated team player who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment. •Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of different people in a variety of situations. •Basic understanding of safety practices. •Requires use of technology platforms on a daily basis.
