Location: Dubuque, IA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 16:11:14 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint About the job Required Skills: •Provides technical support to employees and contractors in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of transmission line system components. •Overall review, coordination, and tracking of the transmission line maintenance program for the ITCT, METC footprints, for both capital and O&M line maintenance work. •Prepares estimates and coordinates material requisitions, specifications and drawings for internally designed projects. •Implement maintenance projects by reviewing designs submitted by the design group and working with field employees/contractors to ensure successful completion of the project. •Participates in field site visits for review and coordination of both capital and O&M line maintenance work. •May review and approve designs created by other Engineers. •Collaborates with other engineers and departments which may include consulting, managing projects, organizing resources or maintenance work. •Participates in Line Design Standards activities and may support the Line Design Standards Committee. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education. •Minimum of six (6) years of work experience in related area for Senior level •Possess sound analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company. •Demonstrated capacity to learn and utilize job-specific software. •Demonstrated capacity to multi-task and work under minimal supervision, in a team environment. •Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access). •Demonstrated capacity to travel offsite for field visits. •Demonstrated capacity to travel to support geographically diverse business operations. •Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
